How to Make Gold in World of Warcraft as a Miner

I'm going to tell you how I made a lot of gold in world of warcraft using mining as a profession.
Step 1First step is to level up your character as high as you can. And also level your mining up along with it. The higher the level, the more expensive ore you can mine. But don't worry you can still make some cash at a low level.

Step 2If you are a low level then mine copper and lots of it. It generally sold for 1-3g a stack on my server, sometimes more than that. I always smelted it into bars they seemed to sell for more that way. When you mine you come across not just the ore but stones and sometimes gems.
The gems sell pretty good, the stones not so good. But you can usually sell them for more than you could vendor them for.

Step 3As you are going around mining you will begin to figure out where the mining nodes will spawn. Knowing where they are will help you get more ores in less time. That equals more gold for you. So everywhere you mine try and get used to the spawning pattern of the ores. They are generally around the edge of the map.

Step 4Now comes the big money. I usually stick with a couple of zones. The one I make the most money in is Easter Plaguelands. There is a lot of thorium and it sells for 55-60g a stack on my server. Sometimes I've sold it for 90g a stack. Its all located along the sides of the map. It helps alot if you have an Epic Mount. Faster mining = Faster money I also like to get mithril in The Hinterlands. Decent money there.

Step 5For the higher levels, Ice crown and Sholazar Basin are great. Epic Mounts will greatly increase your productivity. Lots of Saronite and you get the crystallized shadow and earth. There's even a chance to hit big gold if you find some Titanium. They key is to spend a time getting to know where the ores are and develop a path to them.
Follow this method and you will see a lot of gold in a little time.
